She will offer the PowerPoint presentation “The WASP of the Ferry Command: The Rest of the Story,” Friday, February 26: 1:45 to 2:35 p.m.

Daedalians, monthly dinner meeting at the Officers Club, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, 6 p.m. Sarah will present “So Who Are the WASP, Anyway?”, based on her 15 years of research leading to her four published books on the WASP plus two yet-to-be-published volumes.

Dayton Federation of Women's Clubs annual luncheon and meeting at the Dayton Woman's Club, 11:30 a.m. Sarah will talk about her newest book -- Nancy Batson Crews: Alabama's First Lady of Flight. Crews was one of the original WAFS — the first squadron of WASP (women pilots) formed early in World War II. Sarah will talk about getting to know Nancy and working with her to write The Originals, Sarah's first book about the WAFS. And she will tell how Nancy's biography grew out of that effort and their friendship.
